Our court documents were submitted on Tuesday - woohoo! Now we wait for the assignment of the judge and prosecutor and soon thereafter a preliminary court date. We are hoping to get the preliminary court date next week. Will keep everyone posted.
We just got good news! The letter they were waiting on in Vladivostok was received. This means our documents can be submitted next Tuesday to the courts, and our case will be assigned to a Judge and Prosecutor. Please pray for a favorable judge and prosecutor. We are very anxious to bring Sophie home!
Once the documents are submitted we wait for them to be reviewed and a preliminary court date will be set. I am cautiously optimistic that we might get to travel in November after all, though it might be late November.
