Adelina is the “special somebody” at her kindergarten class this week. I guess that’s the equivalent of a “Star of the Week”. In any case, she had to make a project showing the things that are important to her. Here is what she drew: 2 horses, which are friends; a tall giraffe whose inclusion is something of a mystery to me; and a Christmas tree because she has decided that Christmas is very important to her! After those she was out of room, but it’s just as well. If she were to list everything that is important to her it could get rather lengthy. She managed to hit a couple highlights at least.
As for her horse riding lessons, she had her first one last week. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend because I was busy trying to not pass out while at the grocery store following a minor medical procedure. I succeeded in not passing out, but just barely. Thankfully, a kind nurse who was in the next line took care of me and made sure I was able to sit and rest and drink some orange juice, but she would not let me drive home. Steve, fortunately, was able to get away from work and pick up Adelina from school and get her to her riding lesson while nice nurse-lady drove me home.
So, back to the horses, Adelina loved her lesson and is evidently a natural. Steve didn’t have a camera but I will try to get some pictures this week so you can see Adelina proudly riding Dandy.
More next time…
