Leaving Kiev 7/28/2005
Well, we are happy to report that our paperwork was processed today, and we will be flying tomorrow morning to the region where the boy is that we are going to visit. If we are able to get all the necessary permissions, we will get to meet him tomorrow as well.
We do not yet have a sense as to whether or not this is the child for us, so please do be praying for us!! We wish for a clear answer from God as soon as is reasonable. 
But we’ll “settle” for His perfect timing…

CONGRATULATIONS on a quick referral!! Hope he is the one for you! I didn’t feel any instant love or anything for our daughter. But she was beautiful–and my husband was head over heels immediately. I felt like I had to be voice of reason! Our social worker/adoption agency said “it sounds crazy but you just know.” And somehow–you do! God is so smart! He chose the child that was exactly right for our family. I have every confidence He will do the same for you! Blessings and prayers travel w/ you!
