Adoption Process – Week 17

Today, we successfully collected ALL of our paperwork that required authentication, including the elusive medical forms I was waiting on my doctor for, and I drove it into Phoenix, where it was apostilled (authenticated) by a representative for the AZ Secretary of State. I then put all of these documents, 21 in total, into an envelope for overnight delivery to our agency representative, who will then FedEx them to Ukraine over the weekend! Our dossier should be translated next week, and – God willing – be submitted to the National Adoption Center in Ukraine!

My sense of relief at having these documents out of my hands is monumental. Thank you to those of you who were praying that this would go forward today, as it came dangerously close to not happening!
