Power supply saga? 9/25/2001
So I’m stuck home sick yesterday with a migraine (ugh) and my G3 Powerbook (smile). But my power supply is at work since I use the pwr supply for our iBook while I’m at home. However, Steve took the iBook away for a couple of days, so I’m left at home with a Powerbook but no power. {pitiful sad look}
We also, thankfully, have a G3 desktop tower. It’s all configured for Steve’s settings and accounts and such. Not to be defeated, I made the necessary modifications and made it my home as best I could for the day. (smiling again)
Until I started missing my sweet Powerbook (it’s a pismo - firewire, etc.). {sigh} Then, I remembered there are 32 Powerbook power supplies in the trunk of my car! …”it’s like ten thousands spoons when all you need is a… spoon?” oh. there it is. thanks.
“Why did I have 32 Powerbook pwr supplies in my trunk?” you ask. Good question! I’m the technology specialist (shush! keep your rude comments to yourself!) in an elementary school and am handling Apple’s recall on them for all the teachers in my building (yep, every teacher in our system gets a laptop.)
Well, I’m supposed to be handling it anyway. Actually, they are still sitting in my trunk in boxes. Well, except the one, of course…
