- a few TV favorites: Boomtown (sadly no longer on the air), Numb3rs, Without a Trace, Survivor, Medical Investigation, The Apprentice, Amazing Race, MASH reruns, and most recently The Contender
- ex-TV favorites: ER (did they kill off the original writers or what!?), CSI (good writing has been exchanged for Hannibal Lechter-ish fetishes – and that’s a good episode), almost any sitcom…
- things I think are cool: Jesus, family, deep friendships, good movies, some reality TV shows (esp. Survivor, Apprentice, and most of all The Amazing Race), hiking – esp. in Arizona, running, swimming, rock-climbing (though I haven’t done it in years), and caving (same story). Children are also tops in my book, which is why I went into teaching.
